Jürgen Siebenrock was appointed as Vice President Sales and Services Home Markets &
Global Key Account Management beginning on January 1, 2017. Based in Frankfurt, he is
responsible for Lufthansa Group Airline Sales in the countries Austria, Germany and
Switzerland.
Prior to his current position, Jürgen Siebenrock was Vice President Sales, Services and
Ground Operations – The Americas where he was responsible for the Lufthansa passenger
airline organization in North and South America, Spearheading Sales, Marketing and Airport
Operations since 2011.
Between the years 2006 to 2011 Jürgen Siebenrock was Vice President Sales and Handling –
Germany for Lufthansa Cargo. Mr Siebenrock is an internationally experienced Sales
Executive who began his career with Lufthansa Cargo in 1990 after receiving his degree in
Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Heilbronn. He also holds an
MBA from Warwick University, UK.
In 1992, Jürgen Siebenrock became Marketing Manager for Lufthansa Cargo AG, based in
Frankfurt. One year later, he was appointed Country Manager – Saudi Arabia and Yemen for
Lufthansa Cargo, a position that he held until 1995. He subsequently spent two years as
Director of Lufthansa Cargo in the field of Marketing/Sales and Handling in Madrid, Spain.
Jürgen Siebenrock was named Vice President Marketing/Sales and Handling for Lufthansa
Cargo Latin America in 1998. Three years later he was appointed the Cargo division’s Vice
President Handling Operations – The Americas, based in Atlanta, GA. In July 2003 he became
Vice President Sales and Marketing – The Americas for Lufthansa Cargo, managing over 182
employees in North and South America and responsible for re-engineering the Sales and
Handling organization in these regions, among other duties.
Mr. Siebenrock has served as a member of Board of Directors Lufthansa Cargo Servicios
Logisticos de Mexico since January 2006, is an active Board Member of the GermanAmerican Chamber of Commerce, a Trustee of the Arthur Burns Fellowship and a member of
the Joint Airline Venture Board. He is married and has two children.
