GBTA and VDR are collaborating closely with the conference venue, Estrel to ensure that we deliver our conference in the safest way possible.
GBTA VDR Conference Hygiene Concept
1. Covid Documentation Required
GBTA and VDR are adopting a strict 2G PLUS safety protocol which means that:
In line with the latest government guidelines in Berlin all delegates are required to provide proof of either :
All conference participants are required to provide proof of a negative result of an antigen test that is no more than 24 hours old to gain entrance to the conference for the first time. This cannot be a lateral flow self-test.
Those who have not received a booster shot will also be required to provide tests each day.
We recommend that all delegates conduct antigen tests before coming to Berlin, however there is a testing centre at the Estrel and so it is possible to book a test online. This must be booked in advance via this link: Corona Schnelltest Zentrum - Berlin Neukölln im Estrel Hotel - Book an appointment online now!
Documentation for all delegates will be checked by Visumpoint before a conference badge will be issued.
Delegates without this documentation will not be permitted to enter the conference
2. A Safe Environment
The Estrel itself is equipped with state-of-the-art air conditioning facilities with 100% fresh air supply in all rooms and will be operating enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols throughout the conference. There are sanitation stations throughout the venue.
We have contracted a larger amount of space to accommodate social distancing throughout and designed the layout of conference rooms and expo out to allow for a minimum of 1m distance between delegates.
We are designing entry and exit flows and catering facilities to minimise the potential for bottlenecks and queues
3. Considerate Behaviour
In line with Berlin Senate guidelines all conference participants are required to wear FFP2 masks throughout the event.
